Next Steps and Targets

• To develop a strong brand for the TTC project

• For young people to take a central role in developing the media campaign and interactive website - that allows ideas / experience sharing via video, images and artwork and to be informative and showcase the projects achievements

• To develop the YES Pledge to be recognised regionally and nationally

• To develop stronger links with Government, national and regional bodies in order to influence policy

• To improve the public image of young people

• To ensure that the general public understands the problems faced by young people

• To engage in excess of 1200 young people (aged 10 - 18 with a particular focus on 10 - 14 year olds) that "hang around" street corners across the north east, Yorkshire and the Humber

• To work with significant numbers of local retailers

• To form Strategic Partnerships with national, regional and local agencies and third sector organisations

• To generate a minimum of two enquiries from large organisations and/or Government about the project by end of year two.

TTC is now set to use this progress to engage even more young people. It has embarked upon the development of a media campaign and website that will be driven by youth boards from across the region. The campaign will challenge perceptions of young people and will be used as a tool to engage with an even wider audience than before. Key activities, objectives and targets include:
